At Home in the City: Urbanising Residential Areas (ed. Didier Rebois; EUROPAN 1994) presents the results of the EUROPAN 3 competition for young architects.

EUROPAN competitions are open to all European architects under 40 years old, who choose a site from a range of around 50 put forward by European towns… This third session was jointly organised by 10 countries with 11 other associated countries in order to mobilise young architects. 4500 teams registered; 2230 entered on of the 10 competitions. 85 teams: 44 winners and 41 runner-ups, were selected on 48 sites. That young architects took full advantage of the opportunity offered by EUROPAN to confront new contexts is shown by the fact that 50% of the teams entered in countries other than their own.
– Maria de Corral, president of EUROPAN, director of the Reina Sofia Arts Centre of Madrid in At Home in the City. Urbanising Residential Areas (EUROPAN, 1994)

The text is in English. The book is richly illustrated with architectural drawings and other visualisations.
