This book contains the lectures and papers of an international conference that took place between 13 and 14 February 2014 at the Alvar Aalto Library in Vyborg, Russia.
The conference discussed the multicultural values of the city of Vyborg with the aim to assess its state of protection and future prospects as well as to explore the possibilities of international cooperation. The publication includes the presentations given by Russian and international experts on heritage, restoration and urban planning issues and the roadmap with guidelines for the protection and maintenance of the cultural heritage of Vyborg. The texts are in English and in Russian.
