Česká inspirace – Czech Inspiration is a lovely, small picture book that presents images of achievements in the fields of art, design, engineering, and architecture from the Czech Republic. The timespan covers examples from the pre-historic era until 2005. The contents have been compiled by Jan Kaplicky and Ivan Margolius.
The book consists of images with captions, but there is also a short introduction to the national mindset of the Czech people and a timeline of the main historical events in the nation’s history. The image captions and other texts are in Czech and English.
The copy in stock is in good condition. There are some shelf wear and stains on the covers, but the pages are clean and tidy.
