Berlin New Architecture is a handy guidebook to the late 20th-century buildings of central Berlin. The book presents a variety of Berlin architectural highlights including the renowned works by Sir Norman Foster, Daniel Libeskind, Helmut Jahn and Axel Schultes. There is little text, just the basic introduction to each presented project. However, the book contains an insightful introduction to the key features of contemporary architecture in Berlin and its development since 1989. The book is richly illustrated with colour photographs and there’s a small general map on the endpaper. The book also has an index of the presented architects and buildings as well as a small bibliography for further reading.
